By means of a simple and intuitive form the user enters all the data related to the units of measure. To do so, the user clicks Insert in the toolbar below to access the form.

 

You must fill in at least the required fields to create a new unit of measurement (these fields are in the red background color). You can click OK to complete the operation.

 

 

Order → Numeric field to indicate which units of measure will appear first (order of units of measure). This field must be unique;

 

Code → Numeric field to identify units of measure. This field must be unique;

 

Name → Target name for the unit of measure;

 

Rate → Word formed with the initial letters or syllables of a sequence of words;

 

Off → With this option selected, the units of measurement will not be displayed in the POS units list.
